On Tuesday 22 January 2019 the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), as Patron of the 9RAR Association, and Lady Cosgrove, attended the funeral of Mrs Sue Cole, in Sydney.
