On Monday 3 June 2019, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Mrs Danielle Hall, Principal, attended a citizenship ceremony at Driver Primary School, Driver.

Later, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Mayor Athina Pascoe-Bell, Mayor of Palmerston, attended a community morning tea with Defence Families at the City of Palmerston Council Chambers, Palmerston.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Corporal Michael Bennett, 5RAR, attended a lunch with soldiers from the 1st Brigade, at Robertson Barracks Soldiers Mess.

Later, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Lieutenant Colonel Jeremy Brady, Commanding Officer, Forward Coordination Element, visited the Marine Rotational Force – Darwin, at Robertson Barracks.
